When Breaking Art was originally created in 1999, there were very few sites for artists to create online portfolios. By 2003, there were many. The decision was therefore taken to close the Breaking Art website in 2003.

Artists still use the breakingart.com domain name for email services, which is why you might have come to this website. This page is simply a place-holder on my personal website to describe why the Breaking Art website no longer exists.
